The Story Behind Italy
The Story Behind (TSB) helps the peripheries of cultural heritage tell their stories — to everyone. We work with heritage sites, museums, and cultural organisations to turn complex places, histories, and landscapes into meaningful, engaging experiences. Through ethical branding, storytelling, and heritage interpretation, we support institutions in moving beyond expert-only narratives and opening heritage up as a shared space of significance, inspiration, and identity. TSB works across consultancy, training, and research, with a strong focus on participatory and people-centred approaches. We are actively involved in European research and innovation projects and bring extensive experience in international cooperation.
Within the NatureTalks project, The Story Behind contributes to the development of interdisciplinary skills frameworks, training content, and dissemination activities.
